guards
Guards is a Claude Code plugin that deploys five configurable hooks around an agent's commands and edits to enforce code quality and safety gates, including commit validation, lockfile synchronization, pinned npx versions, auto-formatting on edit, and generated-file and documentation health checks. It integrates directly with Claude Code 2.1.289+ and Codex CLI 0.159.0+ via PreToolUse and PostToolUse hooks, requiring only a shell utility (hook-once.sh) to function.
