Portable session handoff saves and resumes work context across sessions, machines, and tools by storing volatile task state in in-repo markdown files with optional vault discovery indexing and automatic git snapshots before context compaction. The plugin preserves "what I'm doing right now, what I tried, the exact next step" that would otherwise be lost during session transitions or context compacts, enabling seamless continuation in Claude, Codex, Gemini, or any tool that reads the plain markdown handoff files.
