Forge is a native Claude Code plugin that automates spec-driven development through a five-phase autonomous loop: brainstorming acceptance criteria, planning task DAGs, executing tests-first in parallel git worktrees, reviewing and verifying code, and backpropagating spec gaps. State persists on disk in .forge/ to survive context resets and crashes, allowing a single one-line idea to produce reviewed, tested, and committed code without manual intervention.
