This PostToolUse hook automatically formats Python files with ruff and JavaScript/TypeScript/JSON/Markdown/YAML/HTML files with prettier immediately after Claude writes or edits them. File paths are passed safely via argv to prevent shell injection, unsupported files are skipped silently, and all outcomes are logged to ~/.claude/hooks-logs/.
