ship-gate detects unpushed commits at the end of a Claude Code session and injects an agent-directed nudge via hooks to review and finish the branch. It uses a `Stop` hook to flag unshipped work and a `UserPromptSubmit` hook to surface the nudge in the agent's own voice, with throttling to prevent repeated alerts for the same commit.
