dex is an analytics engineering toolkit that helps Claude Code and other agents explore data warehouses, author and refactor dbt transformations with semantic modeling, and maintain schema drift detection across the transformation project and semantic layer. It provides a read-only workflow (Explore, Transform, Maintain) that ranks what matters in unfamiliar warehouses, generates cost-guarded dbt models and semantic models, and surfaces schema/volume/grain drift ranked by blast radius.
