Strata is a four-layer long-term memory system for Claude Code that persists raw sessions, extracted facts, project-specific topics, and user profiles in local SQLite with full-text search. At session start it injects relevant memory; at session end it captures new conversations and uses a background Haiku call to consolidate notes, scenes, and profile entries without requiring extra API keys or external services.
