This Claude Code plugin monitors coding agents for signs of perseveration and wasted effort by counting repeated file edits, failing commands, and tool calls since the last user message, then prompts the agent to decide whether to persist, switch approach, or escalate when thresholds are crossed. It never blocks execution and provides objective metrics—tracking variant cycling, retry failures, and proportional effort—to compensate for the absent fatigue and frustration signals that guide human problem-solving.
